About Us
As VOLO, in order to ensure that the journey of the people is on the right way to find their health and as a result, to become an address where they will have their health, we chose the word "volo" which means "wish" in Latin, as the name of our company. This word, which expresses the wish to become healthy with its meaning, depicts a path leading from disease to health as it is in its logo. The word also refers to the philosophy of "yin yang" by incorporating disease and health. The snake, wrapped in the letter "l" on the way from the disease to health, has been portrayed as the path of change by emphasizing the symbol of medical science. When our logo is evaluated together with its motto, on the one hand it means that we help patients get their health, on the other hand, it has been a visual approach suitable for the mobility of tourism which is a dynamic sector.
SEMTUR, the foundation stone of our company, started its activities in 1998 and its main interest is the travel and organization of the agencies and institutions. In this process, we realized more than four thousand projects. We hosted the congresses. During the health tourism congress that we held in 2013, our interest and sensitivity on the subject have increased. Our aim to bring our knowledge of tourism together with the health sector and our research came to life under the partnership of our beloved master, Prof. Dr. Murat İmer under the roof of Volo.
The things fell into place and he started our activities with our special perspective. Our first job was to determine our principles that would never compromise our ethical values in our journey with the leadership of Prof. Dr. Salih Murat İmer, who has served in different levels of health sector with the experience of more than 40 years and who is at the highest level of his academic career.
The motto of our company has emerged spontaneously, aiming to be the reliable companions of the people who are looking for the right and effective solutions to health problems and reunite them to their families in a healthy way... "Journey to Health"
